DIY Face/ Body Scrubs

There are many benefits to exfoliating our face and body regularly.
From slowing down the aging process, to reducing acne and even helping to prevent ingrown hairs.
I suffer from dry skin and most products left me with an even dryer feeling. I wanted to create something I could use every day. I use the Lavender Scrub every day on my face and body. And the coffee scrub is used on the days I wash my hair or shave. I like to exfoliate before shaving to prevent ingrown hair.

Mix all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix with a sturdy spoon. Test out each Scrub to the texture you prefer. The Coffee Scrub can be a little coarse use 2-3 times a week. The Lavender Scrub can be used daily. Both scrubs can be applied head to toe. Test each one in small are to make sure you don’t have a reaction to ingredients.
Storage: I keep mine in a mason jar at room temperature and it should last about 4-6 months if you haven’t used it all by then.
Finding these ingredients can get pretty pricey at your local store so I buy mine from amazon.
I don’t use all these products specifically for body scrubs. I use them for every day things as well. Thats why I buy them in larger quantities. If you don’t find the need for those quantities you can always choose smaller options, They don’t vary much in price. I also use these body scrubs as a thoughtful gift idea during the holidays. Who doesn’t love a great homemade organic body scrub?
